Minaris Regenerative Medicine

Once again, our US team honors both teams and associates who have exemplified our core values through our Spring 2024 Values Initiative Program Awards (VIP Awards). We chose out of almost 20 nominations for our six distinct categories, selected by a panel of colleagues through a voting process. Congratulations to our winning teams: One of our client operations teams and our Kaizen Event Team for Deviations and CAPAs. Congratulations to our winning associates: Waseem E. for the Driving to Results Award, Xuemei Wan for the Open Minds Award, Viviana Rodriguez for the Solid Integrity Award, and Anand Liliah for the Solid Vision Award. These team members helped our business development, our clients, our departments, and our advancement to commercial manufacturing since late 2023. All winners receive internal recognition and a prize. Thank you for your efforts, and many thanks to those who nominated and voted for these great teams and associates.

Today we spotlight Lina Roman, who was recently promoted to Cell & Gene Therapy Associate III at our Allendale, New Jersey site. Lina joined Minaris in July 2019 with over three years’ experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing for commercial distribution, but not yet in cell and gene therapy. Working with patients’ blood cells made Lina extra aware of how their lives depended on her ethics, knowledge, and proper execution of her work. She learned about how to operate a large amount of equipment, perform many different techniques and adapt to change as needed over her years at Minaris. She credits her work at Minaris for making her an even more empathetic person. Lina shared, “knowing I’m part of such extraordinary work that helps save people’s lives is something I will forever be grateful and proud to be able to do.” Lina is excited to have become a trainer for multiple processes as being able to share her knowledge, techniques and values with new employees makes her very proud. She reminds others of words her old mentor used to share - “never forget to bring your ethics into the clean room with you, that’s the most important tool in our line of work”. Today we spotlight Jesse Eichler, Quality Control Microbiology Analyst III at our Allendale, New Jersey site. Jesse joined Minaris in July 2019 after working as a high school biology teacher and then achieving his master's degree in biology. He joined as a level I associate and soon his background in education led to becoming a trainer for his department as he gained experience. He was promoted to level II in 2021 and level III in 2023. In his career at Minaris, Jesse’s role began to focus on our environmental monitoring (EM) equipment, including programming the equipment and updating them as locations and standards change. He is excited to be collaborating with our validation team to add a new model of particle counter to our EM program. His recent focus is on our cleanrooms' data and impact, to support the maintaining of our aseptic environments. Jesse enjoys how working in a contract development and manufacturing organization exposes him to cell therapy advancement with insight into new drugs at different stages. Being an equipment subject matter expert is a source of pride for him because he gets the opportunity to help people when questions arise.
