Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated lab assistant to join our expanding team. As a laboratory assistant you will have the opportunity to work closely with our lab manager and contribute to our ongoing research efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and handle human specimens according to specific instructions
• Demonstrate physical capabilities, including the ability to bend, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy objects (up to 60lbs, including cadavers)
• Flexibility to work Saturdays
• Prepare samples and specimens for testing, utilizing a wide range of laboratory equipment
• Adhere strictly to proper procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment, work areas, and perform necessary maintenance tasks
• Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the lab manager
  
  

Competencies:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with laboratory environments
• Ideally, 1-2 year of experience working in a laboratory or pursuing studies in biology or a related medical field
  
  

Salary Range:

Salary from $50,000-$55,000 Based on education and experience.
