Buffalo Biodiesel is in growth mode and currently seeking a Junior Attorney to join our fast-growing team! Recent law school graduates who have passed the New York Bar Exam are encouraged to apply.

Who We Are:

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. has been in business since 2005. We are a growing company that collects and recycles used cooking oil. With over 18 years in business, we collect and process used cooking oil for the production of Biodiesel, a carbon reducing alternative fuel to Hydrocarbons. We operate in 15 States with service to over 22,000 locations and growing. Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is subject to and complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery demands and responses
  • Negotiating settlements with adverse parties
  • Contact clients in an attempt to avoid litigation
  • Make occasional (supervised) court appearances

Qualifications

  • Permitted to practice law in New York State
  • Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience, specifically handling breach of contract matters
  • Fluent understanding of electronic filing via NYSCEF

This is an onsite role. Our offices are located at 17 Court Street, Buffalo, NY.
