This position is eligible to work a hybrid remote schedule and when in office can work in Mobile, AL or Pascagoula, MS.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, set clear goals and expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations with guidance from the IT Operations Manager.
- Oversee the day-to-day core banking operations, ensuring system availability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitors network infrastructure, servers, and other IT resources to maintain optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain core banking policies and procedures to ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
- Manage and coordinate the support of various banking applications, including core banking systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and online banking platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to maintain and upgrade banking applications according to vendor management guidelines.
- Negotiate contracts, review service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendor compliance with agreed-upon standards.
- Identify and communicate business needs and translate business requirements into technical system and functional specifications.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in IT or bank operations and application support, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial systems, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent project management skills with track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in IT security practices and risk management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Dedication to staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service to our brand team members.
- Ethics and Confidentiality: Understanding of the importance of data security, ethics, and maintaining customer/bank confidentiality.
- Must have a valid driver license and current car insurance.
- Requires occasional travelling to offsite locations and other branches.
- Occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature.
- Occasional bending, reaching, frequent sitting, standing, twisting, and walking, 20% of the time.
- The employee is frequently required to operate a computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, and/or other office equipment.
- The employee frequently exchanges information with others and must be able to do so in an effective manner. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and across a variety of audiences.
- The employee may frequently reach for files, books, computers, and comparable items in high or low places and must have the ability to bend, stoop, or reach.
- The typical schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- This position could allow some remote work at the discretion of the manager.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee may frequently move items up to 20 pounds and occasionally move items up to 50 pounds.
