Job Description

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking an experienced IT Subject Matter Specialist to join our team. The IT Subject Matter Specialist will utilize a blend of soft skills, technical expertise, and industry knowledge to provide efficient and comprehensive system support. This role requires a deep understanding of relevant operating systems, software, and programming, coupled with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Responsibilities may include:

• Utilize a variety of soft skills, technical skills, and industry knowledge to provide efficient and comprehensive system support
• Demonstrate proficiency in relevant operating systems, software, and programming languages
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain IT solutions
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations and solutions
• Contribute to the development and implementation of IT strategies and initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  
  
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• This position is available in Albuquerque, NM, and requires U.S. citizenship OR Permanent Residence status
• Proven experience in IT support or a related field
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Java, Oracle, PostgresSQL, MS SQL software applications, and WebMethods
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related discipline
• Advanced degrees such as a Master's in Information Systems or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on technology are preferred

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
