Summary
Serves as a positive, professional, agile education team leader focused on coordinating Summa Health’s goals for IT&S training development, deployment, adoption, maintenance, and optimization activities.
Coordinates and advises instructor team on curriculum build, training delivery, and learning management system administration. Collaborates with other training team members, system analysts, and stakeholders to assist in identifying and addressing training needs. Researches and implements IT education best practices. Facilitates end user change management in conjunction with software upgrades and new implementations. Designs instructional content in both print and electronic media, and coaches teammates in this discipline. Provides peer mentorship and professional development guidance to Principal Trainers II and PT II by auditing instructional design and other educational content and facilitating continuous improvement in-services. Supports team leadership in strategic planning, process improvement, project management and serves team as first point of escalation. Provides feedback, direction, standards, and guidance to both project and project personnel as required.
Minimum Qualifications
iii. Two (2) years of print and electronic educational content development
iv. Two (2) years of cross-functional project leadership
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.

Minimum Qualifications
- Formal Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or Information Technology or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience & Training Required:
- Six (6) years of experience to include:
- Four (4) years of education and training including curriculum development and instructional design
iii. Two (2) years of print and electronic educational content development
iv. Two (2) years of cross-functional project leadership
- Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- Certification in at least 2 Epic applications ( Orders or Ambulatory)
- Certification in Epic Training Environment Build
- Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
- Ability to work well within a team environment by accepting and offering constructive feedback, supporting team goals, and supporting members in professional development
- Outstanding knowledge of end user workflows
- Management of process improvement and strategic planning techniques
- Capacity to pivot priorities quickly under pressure
- Flexibility to adapt to new situations and changing environments, including ability to lead change
- Excellent analytical reasoning that allows for creative solutioning
- Outstanding knowledge of end user processes
- Level of Physical Demands:
- Light: Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to ten pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously
