Investor Relations Associate

Evolution Credit Partners, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, manages approximately $3 billion across a range of synergistic credit strategies. Evolution's credit platform provides bespoke financing solutions across the credit spectrum.


We are looking to work with an experienced Investor Relations Associate to support our Vice President of Investor Relations and our expanding investor relations needs. Prior experience may include work within a fund placement team or in-house investor relations/client services role with an alternative investment firm. This Associate will need to have strong project management abilities, attention to detail and knowledge of private markets. Suitable candidates will have a first-class academic background combined with 3-6 years of relevant work experience. Previous exposure to private credit, private equity or other alternative investments is essential. This role is based in Boston, MA.


Role Description:


  • Support the Investor Relations team by assisting in both investor and business development/fundraising efforts
  • Monitor inbound investor requests, coordinate timely responses with multiple internal teams, and facility completion of investor deliverables
  • Complete recurring investor reporting request and investor questionnaires on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Assist in updating marketing collateral and investor letters
  • Independently manage the fundraising investor diligence requests
  • Provide research/analytical support for one off investor relations projects
  • Draft presentations, case studies and other material for new funds
  • Maintain various consultant and performance databases
  • Organize and maintain all investor level, fund level and firm level data for Investor Relations and Business Development team to easily access and manipulate
  • Coordinate and create presentation materials for investor meetings, including support of client onsite visits
  • Maintain and update data in the CRM system to ensure accurate contact information and client coverage
  • Develop and enhance CRM reporting to maintain up-to-date comprehensive coverage for all relationships
  • Work with Investor Relations and Marketing team to enhance broad communication efforts to both existing and potential investors
  • Assist with investor account onboarding including working with external legal teams and administrators to perform AML background checks and maintain organized records


Skills, Experience and Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of previous experience in an investor relations role at an asset management firm
  • Strong organizational skills, extremely detail oriented
  • Experience handling customized reporting requests from several different investors
  • Experience developing marketing materials and content with an institutional asset management focus
  • Experience manipulating large data sets with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.
  • Experience using a CRM system effectively
  • Ability to independently analyze information and solve problems
  • Proven business writing ability with excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in an environment of tight deadline and high-quality standards
  • Team oriented with an ability to operate autonomously and collaboratively across the firm
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Knowledge of private debt industries is a plus
