As an Intern Landscape Designer at RIOS, you will be an integral part of our dynamic landscape design team, assisting in the creation and implementation of innovative and sustainable landscape designs. You will work closely with experienced landscape designers to contribute to the development of creative solutions for diverse projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of landscape design and contribute to the success of our design team. Essential Duties Include

• Learning, promoting and striving to apply our office Mission and Values of curiosity, inclusion, collaboration, making and perspective through a collaborative design outlook on all assigned project tasks.
• Actively engaging in the design process and working toward the successful performance and completion of a project.
• Successful and accurate delivery of assigned project tasks that meet the project requirements and goals set forth by project leadership.
• Demonstrating the ability to show initiative and the ability to think critically and reasonably to anticipate task completion needs.
• Effectively communicating with project leadership and peers; to include asking appropriate questions when necessary.
• Striving to ensure a high quality design delivery through continued, self- guided learning of professional practice and discipline.
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree candidate, or recent graduate, majoring in Landscape Architecture or Environmental Art Design.
• Demonstrated excellent skills in presenting design drawings, proficient in mainstream design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
• Strong interest in landscape design, ecological design, and sustainable design.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Keen observation of design trends and emerging technologies.
• Strong learning ability and innovative spirit.
• Prior internship or project experience is preferred.
