About The Role
As an Instructional Designer, you will collaborate closely with diverse teams to develop and implement dynamic learning paths and training programs. Reporting to the Head of Training and Implementation, you will spearhead the creation of innovative curricula that empower our customers, partners, and internal teams to thrive on our platform.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Path Development: Create tailored learning paths and curricula that cater to various user personas and workflows. Utilize e-learning modules, certifications, workshops, and a robust knowledge base to ensure comprehensive training.
Training Methodologies: Implement cutting-edge training techniques to accommodate different learning styles and enhance knowledge retention.
Product Expertise: Quickly grasp the intricacies of our platform, becoming a go-to resource within the organization. Foster peer learning and leverage our current LMS to deepen your expertise.
Needs Assessment: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs aligned with business goals and industry standards.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality instructional materials enriched with multimedia elements. Ensure content taxonomy facilitates easy navigation and updates.
Evaluation & Improvement: Continuously evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms. Refine programs to optimize the learning experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure training materials remain current and relevant.
Project Management: Manage multiple instructional design projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
Travel: Occasional domestic travel (up to 30%) may be required based on project needs and client requirements.
About You
Experience: Minimum 4 years in instructional design roles, demonstrating a track record of delivering impactful learning solutions.
Skills: Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Expertise: Proficiency with e-learning tools, instructional design models, and adult learning principles.
Passion: A user-centric mindset with a commitment to exceeding learner expectations and driving educational excellence.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or equivalent experience in the field.
