The Role
As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) you will be responsible for two main activities:
Run the full sales cycle on new logo deals with an average value of $12k-$15k.
We will train you on what a good prospect looks like and you will use that knowledge and online tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn and other sources, as well as your interpersonal skills to gather buying signals and then pass the opportunity to a more senior Seller. You may get an opportunity to close it yourself, depending on the deal size. This is a valuable way to learn the art and science of both Marketing and Sales professions and get on your path to an exciting career in technology while also learning how to close more transactional deals. Furthermore, you will be part of an Account Team Unit (ATU), working closely with the sales people, technical/pre-sales teams, and post-sales Customer Success Managers to orchestrate campaigns across the full ATU to optimize all customer acquisition, retention and growth.
Responsibilities
Developing net new business opportunities through strategic outreach
Meeting targeted quota related to amount of qualified pipeline and closed won business
Accurately capturing, reporting, tracking, and managing required qualification data and lead statuses into Salesforce
Utilizing MEDDPICC to guide sales cycles
Responding promptly to all new business opportunities from inbound and marketing-generated leads
Partnering cross-functionally with account executives, marketing, sales operations, sales engineers and fellow ISR's
Providing prompt and ongoing feedback to Marketing on lead quality and trends systematically via data entry, as well as anecdotally in weekly marketing meetings
Attending various tech conferences and events online
Actively contributing to a fun and energetic team atmosphere
Required Skills
1-2 years of SaaS sales experience is a plus, minimum 1 year experience in an IT sales environment is a must have.
Bachelor’s degree a plus but not essential
Experience using Salesforce a plus
Exposure to MEDDPICC is a bonus
Passion for Sales and Marketing
Impeccable English Skills
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Solid time management skills
An aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms
Self-starter mentality who takes initiative
High energy and a team spirit
