Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with innovation and data analysis
2+ years of experience with Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Service staff, or Joint Staff
Experience supporting review and assessment of Department-wide research, development, testing, and evaluation initiatives and investments supporting improvements in the generation, distribution, storage, and use of operational energy
Knowledge of the OSD's full portfolio of installation or operational energy program
Ability to provide engineering and technical feedback on proposed operational energy technologies and innovations, such designs, propulsion, small modular reactors, energy storage, or alternative fuels
Ability to assess operational energy benefits of programs that reduce demand, diversify energy sources, increase supply chain resilience, and improve enterprise-wide awareness of energy
Ability to support coordination with and expert review of proposals seeking funding, and support the development and coordination of reports and testimony for Congress associated with operational energy innovation
Ability to prepare written products, quantitative approaches, organize and execute effective working groups to ensure coordination across DoD components, and provide coordinated, accurate, and timely support for operational energy initiatives and leadership
Ability to obtain a security clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
