Overview:

IT Support Supervisors are the backbone of the IT team, ensuring efficient operations and successful resolution of a wide range of technical issues. They manage staff, prioritize workflows, and champion continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership (20%) - Coordinate and prioritize workload, schedules, and staff. Uphold performance standards through metrics analysis and coaching.
• Process Excellence (20%) - Lead short and long-term process development, documentation, and improvement initiatives. Foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
• Technical Expertise (30%) - Provide advanced troubleshooting, direction, and support on complex IT projects.
• Issue Resolution (30%) - Field IT support calls, tickets, and escalations. Address a broad range of technical issues across various software, platforms, and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT support experience across multiple disciplines.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A+, Network+, MS900, Security+, and software-specific certifications preferred.

Special Skills:

• Experience handling a high volume of IT support issues and serving as the primary escalation point.
• Adaptability to manage change, prioritize effectively, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Ability to learn and communicate new technical concepts clearly.
• Strong critical thinking skills to identify and recommend process improvements.
• Familiarity with various IT tools and technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, NetBox, etc.) a plus.

In essence, this role combines strong leadership with deep technical expertise to empower the IT team and keep operations running smoothly.
