Why it matters: Our In-House Counsel will play an integral role in driving the vision for Axios HQ as an AI-powered essential communications tool.
Go deeper: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios HQ through the following responsibilities:
Negotiating and redlining contracts such as licensing agreements, partnership, events, advertising, sales, services, consulting, vendor and data processing agreements
Advising a wide range of legal issues including marketing, privacy, data security, consumer protection, IP, and general corporate matters
Optimizing processes and reporting within our project management and software and contract lifecycle management platform
Assisting with other legal tasks as requested

Licensed attorney with at least two years’ relevant work experience
Skilled redliner and practical problem solver

Ability to weigh legal and business risks
Clear and succinct communication
Be a good human, with good judgment and high level of integrity
In-house company experience a plus
Don’t forget:
Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. Annual compensation for this role is in the range of $135,000-$150,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills.
