SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Up to $150k + bonus
(after 1 year, bonus of up to two months’ salary, based on performance)
- 100% in -office, potential to work from home 1 day/week.
- Medical: Employee is 100% covered. Cost for family: $142.89/pay period
- PTO: 3 weeks (negotiable)
ABOUT THE POSITION:
- Essentially building HR from scratch here in Draper. The company started in Ireland and has a strong HR team there. This will be a fairly new position in the United States but with lots of support from Ireland.
- Travel to San Diego once per quarter.
- Training and Development is essential for this role. They want to grow employees from within and have them move up in the company as much as possible. This person will put together training and promotion plans.
- Experience in Quality Management Systems required: Putting together process and trainings so everyone is trained the exact same way. This ensures continuity regardless of who is working.
- Want someone that experience on the operational side of things. They have a large and growing customer service department.
- Mentor managers. Give leadership, mentorship, guidance, and being a person they can go to and trust.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years resolving employee relations issues. Also, 5+ years as an HR Manager preferred.
- SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP, and/or SPHR or PHR certifications a plus.
- Experience in leading Training and Development Programs.
- Specialized knowledge in employment law, talent acquisition, employee relations, training, HR technology and performance management is highly desired.
- Active affiliation with HR organizations and ongoing community involvement preferred
- Ability to maintain a broad view of the business, demonstrating strong diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills, delivering solutions that balance individual/overall company needs.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead change across the organization.
- Ability to focus on critical issues and balance and respond to competing short-term and long-term priorities.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
