Position Summary

The Human Resource Director is a key role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function within the organization. The Human Resource Director closely with senior leadership across multiple divisions to drive organizational effectiveness, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This position is a hybrid remote position, meaning physical presence in the workplace is required at least (3) days per work week. Employees in this position must meet and adhere to the requirements set forth in the Company’s Hybrid Work Policy. This position reports to the President and will be located in uptown Charlotte, NC.

Essential Functions

  • Leads HR function across multiple divisions that include office environments and a manufacturing facility.
  • Develops strong relationships and partners with key stakeholders including executive leadership team, senior manufacturing leaders, business leaders, and HR team.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership across divisions to align HR initiatives with business priorities.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to the executive team on human capital matters.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
  • Ensure effective onboarding processes to integrate new hires into the organization.
  • Establish and maintain positive employee relations by fostering a culture of open communication and trust.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Implement policies and programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Lead performance management initiatives, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Ensure fair and equitable compensation practices aligned with market trends and internal equity.
  • Identify learning needs and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure legal compliance.
  • Stay informed about emerging HR trends and best practices to proactively address compliance issues.
  • Oversee HR operations, including benefits administration and HRIS management.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to HR staff to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that values diversity and innovation.
  • Approximately 10% out-of-state travel for meetings or events that occur outside of an employee’s scheduled office days and in which the Company determines, in its sole discretion, that in-person attendance is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years experience in HR leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology solutions.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable HR strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Experience leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • The ability to navigate between strategic vision and hands-on tactical execution.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and build strong relationships and foster effective communication with both employees and the leadership team.
  • Strong detail orientation, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a timely manner.

· Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
