In This Role, You Will
Manage and maintain control of all regular, interim, and special tenant re-examinations for assigned caseload
Perform application interviews for formal applications, verify applicants, prepare file, and conduct briefings
Prepare leases/contracts
Negotiate proper rents
Review and verify household income and composition to determine program benefits eligibility
Review recertification form, complete verification package, and perform rent calculations
Assist in the daily administration of the Section 8 Programs as directed by supervisor
Prepare and maintain file documentation and status reports in compliance with HUD regulations and the Association’s administrative plan
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge of the regulations governing the Section 8 program is preferred and general administration practice is required
Computer literacy is required
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and present to a variety of individuals or group is required
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work independently to schedule, organize, plan, prioritize, and complete job related activities
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals
