CVR has operations in Atlanta, Tampa, Chicago and New York, to name a few. CVR is seeking to fill the Housing Specialist position.

This position will service participants in assisting low-income families and individuals, who may include homeless, elderly or disabled, to secure affordable housing and improved living conditions with the goal of an improved quality of life and self-sufficiency. Responsible for completing the ongoing, annual and interim examinations for the Housing Choice Voucher Program participants such as notifying participants of results, monitoring unit transfers and making annual rent adjustments.

The desired candidate must possess a Bachelors degree or at least 3 years equivalent experience working with economically and socially disadvantaged individuals and or families Computer software proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point One (1) year of previous experience working with the public in a Housing Choice Voucher Program or similar program.
