Our Kirsten Vincent Respite & Recovery Center Art Collection Open House celebrates resilience, hope, and the power of creativity to heal. The Center art collection is had up of 62 original pieces of art from 35 local artists from those with international reputations to 4th grade Buffalo Public School students. The art and artists will be on display at our fall Arts & Recovery Showcase, September 26h at Salvatore's Italian Gardens. Ticket information to follow.

Recovery Options Made Easy (Recovery Options) was awarded $4 Million in support of NYS' Intensive and Sustained Engagement Team, Governor Kathy Hochel announced. Recovery Options is the fourth peer-led organization across the state to receive this funding to provide services in the City of Rochester and Monroe County. Recovery Options is a Gowanda, NY based non-profit with services throughout WNY and the Finger Lakes.

At Recovery Options, we believe in continuous improvement. Chief Program Officer, Toni Taylor recently completed the Alliance Leadership Institute program with the Alliance for Rights and Recovery. #givingtuesday In the last year, our crisis residences have served over 220 people experiencing a mental health crisis, saving them from an unnecessary hospital stay and preserving their independence in the community. 💙Our warmlines have taken over 4,000 calls, our supported housing programs have provided independent community living opportunities to over 370 people; and our community support programs have provided skillbuilding and peer supports to over 550 adults and children. But there is so much more work to do.... 💚Our level of community involvement in our programs is one of the reasons we have been able to successfully place peers on paths of recovery.
