YOUR MISSION:

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Merchandising Planning to support our Wholesale Footwear, Apparel, and Accessory categories. This Senior Manager role will report into the Senior Director of Integrated Planning and will be pivotal in developing product line architecture, providing product performance analysis, and contributing to strategic decision-making and forecasting.

YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities)

• Help develop and carry out merchandise plans at the business unit and category levels.
• Work on turning financial and Wholesale channel/account sales plans into actionable merchandise plans.
• Assist in setting profitability and margin targets, and conduct analysis and trend forecasting.
• Support the seasonal merchandising forecasting process, including preparation, consolidation, and submission of forecasts.
• Participate in post-season reviews of product performance and provide insights.
• Work with Merchandising and Business Planning to support pricing, classification/franchise architecture, and life cycle planning through performance data analysis.
• Help create and maintain weekly and monthly reports to provide category and product performance insights.
• Analyze assortment metrics, including pricing, margin, AUR, and range efficiency.
• Conduct pricing and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Team up with Merchandising, Sales, and Wholesale Business Planning to utilize consumer insights and market trends to identify business opportunities related to product, price, and seasonality.
• Review product range efficiency and establish tracking methodologies.
• Support seasonal S&OP activities to ensure range maximization and efficiency.
• Assist in managing the merchandising planning calendar to align with global milestones.
• Help ensure systemic alignment across product tracking reports and line plans.
• Assist in process improvements, analytics, and data visibility to drive better business decisions and efficiency.

YOUR TALENT (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Retail Merchandising, or a related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Merchandising or Product Planning,
• Experience in managing and developing teams.
• Knowledge of merchandising, forecasting, retail math, and retail processes.
• Advanced skills in Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in supporting change or process improvements in a dynamic retail environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple requests simultaneously.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to follow through on cross-functional projects.
• Creative mindset with the ability to execute processes and support corporate targets.
