ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Own full P&L responsibility for the healthcare and life sciences business in North America
Develop and execute innovative go-to-market strategies tailored to healthcare providers, payers, life sciences companies, and adjacent organizations to drive sustainable revenue growth
Set ambitious unit targets, focusing on growing recurring revenue through managed services and SaaS models within the context of the company's global strategy
As a member of the executive team, contribute strongly to the overall strategy development of the organization
Build and lead high-performing commercial and operational teams spanning sales, consulting, customer success, and support functions
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor, deeply understanding clients' challenges and crafting intelligent automation solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, compliance, and outcomes
Identify strategic partnerships and channels to accelerate growth
Drive widespread adoption of solutions through compelling value propositions, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and robust ROI analyses
Contribute to the global development of healthcare and life sciences messaging, solution frameworks, and delivery methodologies
Advance healthcare and life sciences offerings through product strategy, solution development, and thought leadership
Inspire a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement across your organization
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Experience
12+ years of progressive experience in healthcare and/or life sciences, with at least 5 years in a senior commercial leadership role
Expertise in areas such as revenue cycle management, clinical operations, care management, pharmaceutical processes, or healthcare IT solutions
Track record developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products/services and entering new market segments
Experience building and leading high-performing commercial teams across sales, solution consulting, and customer success
Proven ability to navigate complex healthcare sales cycles involving diverse stakeholders and rigorous governance processes
Entrepreneurial accomplishments launching new initiatives or business units is a plus
Experience selling SaaS solutions, managed services, and/or other recurring revenue models is highly preferred
Ability to balance strategic vision with attention to detail, ensuring that high-level goals are supported by well-executed plans and operations
Knowledge and Skills
In-depth understanding of key trends, market dynamics, and the unique challenges healthcare organizations face
Strong business acumen to translate technical solutions into compelling value propositions for healthcare executives
Skilled in strategic planning, go-to-market execution, change management, talent development, and healthcare compliance
Extensive healthcare and life sciences industry network and established relationships with potential clients, partners, and influencers
Excellent communication and executive presence; ability to influence healthcare decision-makers through thought leadership
Data-driven mindset and experience using metrics to optimize business performance
While the role requires a high degree of independence and decisiveness, it is equally important to collaborate effectively with the executive team and across departments to achieve organizational goals
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and the ability to achieve quick wins, while also maintaining a focus on long-term strategic goals and sustainability
Fluency in English (Scandinavian languages a plus)
