Head of Finance / Chief of Staff

Role: Head of Finance / Chief of Staff

Location: San Francisco

Salary: Up to $240k base + equity

We are looking for a Head of Finance / Chief of Staff to partner closely with the CEO on "keeping the house in order" and "engaging at a strategic level" with a company-wide view at an exciting Series A FinTech.

The "must-have" requirements for this role are:

• From an investment banking or management consultancy background
• 2+ years working for a SaaS start-up (MUST-HAVE)
• 7-10 years overall finance experience

The role:

• Financial collaboration: collaborate with external financial experts for both the United States and in France.
• Financial planning and analysis (FP&A): handle budgets, projections, and related tasks.
• Invoice and payment management: handle bill payments, invoice processing, and employee expense reimbursements.
• Cash flow oversight: manage overall cash management and treasury functions.
• Investor relations partnership: collaborate with the CEO on board deck preparation, fundraising processes, due diligence, and updates for venture capitalists.
• Debt management and banking relationships: oversee venture debt and maintain relationships with banks.
• Sales team collaboration: work closely with the sales team to manage revenue, process sales commissions, and support related financial activities.
• Equity plans and regulatory compliance: assist with options plans and 409(a) compliance.
• Risk management: oversee Directors and Officers (D&O) insurance and other risk control measures.
• Ad hoc projects: engage in various projects including analytics (tracking KPIs and OKRs), legal tasks (contract review), and operations responsibilities (vendor and lease management).

They are already disrupting major competitors in their industry, armed with a proven product market fit and multiple notable customers on board.
