Job Overview:
The Head of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities within the company, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions in line with our strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of biotechnology, genetics, and engineering principles, capable of managing a diverse team and driving complex projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives.
Manage the recruitment, training, and development of engineering staff.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless project integration.
Innovation and Development:
Drive the development of new technologies and methodologies in genetic engineering and biotechnology.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant advancements into the company’s projects and processes.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and expertise in genetic engineering, bioinformatics, molecular biology, and related fields.

Qualifications:
Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Biotechnology, Genetics, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering roles within the biotech or genetics industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Proven track record of leading and delivering complex engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of genetic engineering techniques, bioinformatics, molecular biology, and biotechnology.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
