NewHomesMate is seeking a dynamic Head of Builder Partnerships, a key senior-level role pivotal to our strategic initiative to dominate the new construction marketplace as a comprehensive online destination for new construction buyers. This role is designed for a transformative leader who can establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with builders, ensuring that NewHomesMate becomes their sole sales outlet. By focusing on builder representation, this position will be instrumental in shaping the supply side of our marketplace, reinforcing our commitment to a dual-sided market strategy that equally values builder and buyer needs.

Key Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:

  • Establish Builder Partnerships: Spearheaded the development of builder relations strategies to secure exclusive representation agreements, positioning NewHomesMate as the primary sales channel for builders.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to identify, engage, and acquire new business from developers and builders.
  • Strategic Development of Builder Network: Identify and engage key builders in strategic markets, establishing NewHomesMate as a pivotal partner in their sales and marketing efforts.
  • Build and lead a team of experts in builder marketing, builder sales, floorplan design, model home design, interior design, and project management to deliver high-quality services to homebuilders.
  • Drive Supply-Side Market Expansion: Through a deep understanding of the construction industry and market demands, expand the builder network to new regions, ensuring a consistent supply of new homes to meet buyer demand.
  • Builder-Centric Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to tailor approaches that highlight the unique advantages of partnering with NewHomesMate, enhancing builder satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operational Excellence in Builder Engagement: Oversee the operations associated with builder partnerships, ensuring seamless integration and support from initial contact through to sales fulfillment.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Sales Operations, Technology, and Marketing departments to drive innovations that streamline processes and enhance the builder experience on our platform.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Metrics-Driven Performance: Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of builder partnerships, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize results and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within the real estate sector or high-ticket, low-frequency marketplaces, with a significant focus on client relationships and partnership management.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and implement strategies that align with company objectives and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Established connections within the residential construction industry, with a track record of securing influential partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of how to manage and optimize sales operations specifically tailored to the homebuilding sector.
  • Skilled in negotiating high-value contracts and fostering relationships that build trust and drive long-term engagement.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and data analytics tools to drive decisions and enhance partnership strategies.
