Graphic / Digital Designer (contract) [75203]

One of our clients in the Dallas, TX area is hiring for a contract Graphic / Digital Designer. This will be 40 hrs per week and will last for 1+ years.

It is hybrid, so you need to live in the area already; this role is not open to relocation candidates.

Hourly pay range is $34 - $37/hr, W2, paid weekly.

Overview:

This is an in-house designer working on a major brand and aesthetic primarily in digital media, with a focus on web and user interface (UI) design. You will work under the supervision of senior level creatives assisting in producing various design assets including design system components, web banners, web pages, standalone graphics and illustrations, wireframes, and presentations.

Graphic / Digital Designer Duties:

• Collaborate with team members (strategy, UX, content, IT/Dev, etc.) to create conceptual designs for new and existing digital platforms and tools, especially eCommerce websites.
• Assist the digital experience team with visual and competitive research for projects.
• Partner with copywriters, UX designers, and IT partners to produce final designs/products.
• Develop designs primarily in digital media, iconography, and presentation (PPT) formats, with possibilities for social and print designs.
• Conduct creative research, create mood boards/design concept options, design presentation documents, web layouts, logos/icons, illustrations, and assist the digital experience AD.
• Create designs that align with and meet expected minimum accessibility standards (WCAG).

Graphic / Digital Designer Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years of web-based graphic design experience with portfolio/samples to share. **Make sure the portfolio shows all types of listed samples in this job description for UI, illustration, and other digital assets / creative.
• Experience collaborating with UX Designers and/or Developers is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Figma and Adobe Creative Suite experience.
• Excellent design aesthetics, detail-oriented, resourceful, and strong organization skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is preferred.
