REPORTS TO: Director of Golf, First Assistant Professional
SUMMARY: Responsible for the Management and Operation of the Wintergreen Raw Water System. Under the guidance of the Director of Golf and the First Assistant Professional, the Golf Shop Specialist must assists with all member and guest check in procedures, as well as handling tee time reservations and merchandise sales.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Specific Duties/Responsibilities
Golfer check-in and tee sheet management
Operate retail point of sale
Take golf tee time reservations
Assist members and guests with merchandise
Insure that merchandise displays properly and displays are clean
Insure that golf shop is clean with respect to resort guidelines
Assist with guest service requests
Assist with seasonal gift certificate requests
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of:
Basic record-keeping and report-writing including budgets.
Skill & Abilities In
Ability to work unassisted for certain periods of time
Familiar with general computer applications (Microsoft Office, Windows, etc)
Appearance conforming to golf industry standards
General knowledge about the game of golf is useful but not required
Ability to handle and process large amounts of money.
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines:
High school diploma OR GED.
