Role Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join the Securitized Derivatives Structuring & Origination team to manage the execution of securitized derivative transactions and participate in the development of this business at Goldman Sachs. Enjoy a fast-paced and widely-scoped role that works closely with sales, trading, engineering, and control functions aligned to the structured notes business. The role will offer a unique vantage point from which you will have the opportunity to gain a front-to-back understanding of Goldman Sachs’ structured notes business in the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end securitization process, working with business partners
  • Advise sales, trading and clients on Goldman Sachs’ capabilities for issuing structured notes and other securitized derivatives
  • Work on new product & platform development, such as: creating new issuing entities and wrappers, increasing our menu of supported payoffs and underliers, navigating our entry into new markets, and addressing identified platform risks.
  • Cultivate relationships with third-party partners, and work with them to issue their structured paper into Goldman Sachs’ client channels; a function that will include establishing documentation and coordinating deal bidding and execution.
  • Negotiate transaction documentation with clients

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Min 1 year relevant experience in the financial services industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a deal execution / management role

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
