General Manager Logistics

Our client is a leading player in the food distribution and production industry, known for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are searching for a Logistics General Manager to oversee and optimize our client’s logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of our client’s food products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage logistics operations for multiple sites, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics processes and meet company objectives.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of logistics professionals to achieve operational excellence.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to enhance team performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and reduce operational costs.
• Implement and enforce quality assurance measures to ensure the integrity and safety of food products during transportation and storage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.

● Proven experience as a Logistics General Manager overseeing multiple sites.

● Strong leadership and team management skills.

● In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.

● Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.

● Familiarity with food distribution regulations required.
