GC Beverage Cart Attendant

GOLF COURSE BEVERAGE CART ATTENDANT

$11.40/hr plus tips Part-Time Seasonal March – October

General Summary

Under the supervision of the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. This position is responsible for greeting guests in a pleasant manner, operating the Point-of-Sale system, and collecting money for purchased food and beverages in a timely manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Restocked the walk-in fridge, and Pepsi case with beer, seltzers, Gatorade, water, sodas, and snacks.
  • Make sure that beverage carts are restocked at the end of your shift.
  • Maintaining inventory counts on beverage cart during and at the end of each shift.
  • Carrying the Beverage Cart phone and ready to take orders when guests call.
  • Checking out and in iPads for each shift.
  • Emptying the trash on the cart and in the Blue House.
  • Maintaining a clean cart by washing the carts when needed.
  • Filling the gas tank at the end of your shift.
  • Know and follow rules of proper golf etiquette while out on the course.
  • Notify supervisor if you see or need assistance with an irate guest.
  • Communication and teamwork in many aspects of the job.
  • Having a professional image and actions.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to drive a vehicle.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multi-task under pressure.
  • Must be dependable and punctual with transportation to and from work.
  • Must be prepared with the items you need to do the job such as uniform, name tag, coats, umbrella, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.
  • Must be courteous and work together with your fellow team members.
  • Must be cordial and polite, creating a positive guest experience.
  • Must be familiar with how to use an AED in the event of an emergency out on the course.

Working Environment/Physical Activities

  • Must be able to lift and carry fifty pounds.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Must be able to work at indoor and outdoor temperatures, with extreme heat & cold.
  • Environmental conditions encountered will include wind, rain, dust, and cotton from cottonwood trees.
  • Must be able to work without direct supervision and with a great deal of autonomy.

Education/experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Must be TiP’s Trained Certified within 30 days of employment.
