Full Time Nursing Faculty/Instructor - Remote | WFH

Position Title: Nursing Faculty (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor; commensurate with experience)

Location: Nashville, TN

Position Type: Full-time, On-campus

Primary Responsibilities

Deliver engaging instruction in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, with potential involvement in other prelicensure nursing programs based on educational level.

Uphold professional standards in teaching both in the classroom and clinical settings.

Create and maintain course syllabi, manage classroom dynamics, utilize technology effectively, and manage grading and record-keeping according to institutional standards.

Collaborate effectively within the School of Nursing faculty group, contributing to meetings, projects, recruitment efforts, and committee work.

Develop and implement effective teaching and evaluation strategies that foster student engagement and success in the nursing profession.

Provide mentoring, tutoring, and advising to support student achievement.

Stay current with advancements in nursing education and practice through ongoing professional development.

Contribute to School of Nursing and institutional evaluation processes to assess and improve outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum of a Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing (preferred).

At least two years of full-time equivalent clinical experience as a registered nurse.

Formal education in adult education principles, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation (preferred).

Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee or in one of the compact states.
