Halcyon Manufacturing is a modern contract manufacturing company of machined parts and components. We are looking for an experienced Front Office Order Processing/Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This role will involve handling all aspects of purchasing BOM (Bill of Materials) items for orders, processing work orders in the system, and managing job schedules. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills to ensure smooth and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. Our facility serves sectors including Semi-Conductor, Medical, Aerospace, and Home Defense.

  • Job Duties (But not limited to):


**

  • Handle all purchasing activities for BOM items related to orders.
  • Process work orders in the company's ERP system.
  • Manage and maintain job schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and work orders.
  • Communicate with production and quality control teams to ensure order specifications are met.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock level monitoring.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using ERP systems for order processing and inventory management.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Must be a US citizen or hold a Green Card.
  • Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or order processing role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with BOM and inventory management.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Understanding of job scheduling and workflow management.

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • **Pay:
  • $25-30/hr (Depending on Experience)
  • **Expected Hours:
  • No less than 40 per week
