The Common Ground Consortium invites you to join our governing or advisory board of directors and help us drive positive change in communities, colleges, small businesses, and corporations nationwide.


About The Common Ground Consortium


The Common Ground Consortium (501c3) is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural immersion through education, engagement, cultural networking opportunities, and collaborative community and corporate events.


Based in Frisco, Texas, with plans for nationwide expansion in Fall 2025, we are committed to creating an inclusive society where diversity is celebrated and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.


Board Expectations and Requirements:


1. Term of Service: Your commitment will span two years, during which you'll actively contribute to our mission, strategies, and growth.


2. Bi-Monthly Virtual Meetings: As a dedicated board member, you'll participate in virtual meetings where we collaboratively steer the organization's direction and initiatives.


3. Fundraising Events: Your assistance in planning and participating in fundraising events will be crucial to securing resources for our transformative programs and workshops.


4. Strategic Planning: Utilize your expertise to participate in strategic planning sessions, helping shape our long-term goals and impact.


5. Sponsor Recruitment: We encourage your involvement in identifying potential sponsors and partners who share our commitment to positive change.


6. Occasional Travel: While most work can be accomplished virtually, occasional travel might be necessary for key events, workshops, or meetings.


7. Branding and Ambassador Duties: As a board member, you'll act as an ambassador for The Common Ground Consortium, promoting our mission and values within your network.


8. Diverse Skillsets: We value diverse perspectives. Your unique skills and background will contribute to a well-rounded and impactful board.
