What to expect:
The Flooring Sales Associate greets customers and prospects as they enter the store and works with them during the sales process from beginning to end building and maintaining relationships. As the Flooring Sales Associate, you will build relationships with clients to extend future business and maintain a professional company image.
Salary: $33,000 - $42,000 / year

What you will get to do:
Follow a sales process to close for residential, commercial, and builder clients
Identify prospective customers and respond to requests for proposals on time by preparing bids and completing internal processing
Ensure availability of merchandise and services and coordinate installation schedules for the customer’s convenience
Maintain contact with customers in a timely and professional manner on quotes, material acquisition, and installation schedules
Verify customer satisfaction after the job and collect any outstanding payments
You will bring these qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Entry-Level Experience to Mid-Level Experience
Great Customer Service skills
Floor covering product and installation knowledge (wood, tile, vinyl, etc.) or design experience
Remodeling estimation and takeoff experience
Interpersonal skills including excellent listening, verbal and oral communication to allow for professional interaction with customers and vendors and maintain working relationships with co-workers
Professionalism to include dependability, accountability, punctuality, professional dress, speech, behavior, and organizational skills
Experience using a digital CRM system for tracking inventory/sales
