FINANCIAL SYSTEMS MANAGER

BGSF has partnered with a rapidly growing PE-backed company in HOUSTON, TX that is looking for a Financial Systems Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for system administration/implementation, development/maintenance of work flows, process improvements, data management, and reporting/analytics.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of solutions in collaboration with 3rd party partners, covering financial reporting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and post-implementation support.
• Partner with senior leaders across all business functions to ensure data integrity from Netsuite, Redshift, and ADP.
• Design and implement budgeting workflows within the CPM solution for annual and quarterly budgeting processes.
• Develop and design a robust headcount planning module within the CPM solution.
• Create what-if scenarios and sensitivity analyses for projections within the CPM solution.
• Maintain and enhance existing financial systems and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for CPM system-related inquiries and issues.
• Analyze and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance management metrics.
• Develop and implement data quality control procedures for the CPM solution.
• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive reporting and analytics strategy within the FP&A team.
• Develop and implement cost allocation methods, customer gross profit reporting, and departmental P&Ls.
• Generate insightful reports and analysis to support informed decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial deck for the executive leadership team and BOD.
• Provide training and support to end-users on KPI and performance management tools as a subject matter expert in finance systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance or accounting role with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with SQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with Netsuite, Tableau, CPM (Hyperion, Planful, Prophix, Jedox, or similar products).
