We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Operations Manager to oversee various financial and operational aspects of our business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of areas including expense management, financial analysis, budgeting, and overseeing operational processes. The candidate will have regular opportunities to interact with the executive management team but will spend at least half of their time as an individual contributor focused on both strategic & operational activities.

What would I be doing?

• Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
• Lead & execute annual audit activities while maintaining compliance with auditing standards.
• Monitor & manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Ensure DroneSense is compliant with all financial laws and guidelines.
• Develop and implement departmental budgets.
• Provide reporting and guidance on budget, revenue, and expenses that empower leaders to make the best decisions.
• Develop and implement processes & procedures in place for post-sales, collections, cash management, compliance, and audit preparedness.
• Oversee monthly expense processes & payments are completed in a timely manner.
• Reconcile and classify monthly expenses for accurate financial reporting
• Generate monthly close financials, analyze P&L statements, and perform pool dilution calculations.
• Review & reconcile financial statements; review & post benefits & prepaid expenses
• Manage Accounts Receivable Specialist who is responsible for AR & collections
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls, budgeting, costing, and financial statements preparation and analysis
• Able to execute objectives with high-level direction and minimal supervision
• Proven experience in financial management and operations, preferably in a managerial role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred
