Looking for CA/CPA qualified candidates with minimum 4-8 years working experience of Canada Accounting & Laws.


Responsibilities


  • Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic initiatives and financial performance monitoring.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and disclosures in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Provide regular financial insights and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • and Compliance: Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities, including VAT, corporation tax, and other relevant taxes, ensuring adherence to Canada tax laws and regulations.
  • Management: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of financial information and addressing audit findings and recommendations.
  • Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements, optimizing cash management strategies and supporting funding decisions.
  • Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Systems: Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial reporting capabilities.


Qualifications


  • Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) qualification
  • degree in Accounting, Finance, with 4-8 years’ experience in the relevant field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
  • knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
  • in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and audit management.
  • proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial management software.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
