Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in developing new and robust financial processes and will suit a hands-on, enthusiastic team player, who is wants to work in a fast-paced business undergoing rapid growth.


The Finance Manager will support the CFO with the daily management of the Finance Team and financial control of the global Lodestone business.


As a member of the finance team you will be accountable for the overall financial management and financial control of the business, influencing and impacting decisions, pro-actively addressing issues through an appropriate balance of detailed understanding and broad strategic overview and providing clarity over financial information to the senior management team.

This role will lead and develop the finance team, streamlining processes and establishing the framework through which the other team members can effectively perform their roles. Using your breadth of knowledge, you will provide day to day leadership, coaching and direction to your team.


This role will proactively look for opportunities above what the business is requesting and addressing areas not previously considered to provide commercial finance support, influencing decisions or strategy to deliver bottom-line benefits.


Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the completion of month end close across all entities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensuring the accurate and efficient management of the AP & AR processes
  • Responsible for cash flow management
  • Consolidate monthly management accounts, including processing of intercompany consolidation adjustments
  • Review P&L commentary and summarize key variances to budget / forecast for reporting to senior management
  • Oversee the development and ongoing training needs of the finance team
  • Create a cohesive team environment that helps maintain stability in the finance team


Required skills & expertise:

  • Qualified accountant CA/CPA or equivalent with at least +7 years post-qualified experience & +3 in Management roles, preferably within the professional service / cybersecurity industry.
  • High levels of enthusiasm and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong commercial mind-set
  • Thorough understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with implementing ERP systems (Netsuite) and financial software;
  • Strong Excel skills, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
