Position Summary: The Field Service Technician fulfills an important role in the success of our overall organization by providing technical services to our customers on a full-time basis. The position focuses on all aspects (troubleshooting, maintenance and installation) of computerized parking and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical service of automated parking systems, provide timely notification of problems or delays
Assist with project set-up, installation, and customer training
Research and gain working knowledge via hands on and Amano McGann training on new hardware, devices and tools to provide better system solutions and installation and troubleshooting efficiency
Follow and enforce all OSHA safety practices
Complete PCI checklist when servicing applicable service issues
Ensure that work orders are detailed, completed per work order SOP and “signed-off” by the client prior to leaving he work site
Maintain and operate company fleet vehicles in a safe manner and follow company vehicle operation policies
Ensure work area is maintained and well organized
Complete service tickets as needed and follow up with support until the issue is ersolved
Provide On-Call after hours and weekend emergency service as required by our customers (in rotation with other technical staff)
Assist our sales staff in promoting the sale of new equipment/upgrades where appropriate
Provide effective communication that creates a collaborative environment with all parties that the Field Team interacts with, including: Clients; Subcontractors; Branch staff; Support personnel; Corporate staff
Work Overtime as needed
All other duties as assigned
These Key Responsibilities are general in nature and may be augmented with additional duties as determined by the needs of your manager
Work Conditions:
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Climbing, crouching and twisting is required daily
Working overhead and bending down to service equipment is frequent
Required to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Daily driving is required
Frequent standing is required
