We are Legendary Dogs, the largest franchisee of Dogtopia. Our home office team is in Atlanta, GA. We currently operate 10 locations in Portland, OR, San Diego, CA Las Vegas, NV, and Madison, AL. We are rapidly expanding into 9 other states. We will operate 75 Dogtopias in the next several years. Job Summary:

The Field Operations Manager at Legendary Dogs will be responsible for overseeing the execution and enhancement of our operations, sales, and marketing initiatives. This role involves training and managing a team of field representatives, evaluating, and analyzing their performance, and planning and managing logistics. The Field Operations Manager will also be responsible for overseeing new store opening operations and ensuring that all field activities align with the company’s strategic objectives. Additionally, this role focuses on increasing operational efficiency across locations, fostering innovative ideas to improve the business, and supporting the continuous development of team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations at various locations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures.

Field Team Management:

  • Recruit, hire, and train field representatives to effectively represent Legendary Dogs.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure field team members are well-versed in company products, policies, and best practices.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor field representatives to achieve performance goals and maintain high levels of customer service.

Performance Evaluation and Analysis:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of field representatives through regular assessments and performance metrics.
  • Analyze field data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide detailed reports and feedback to senior management on field operations performance.

Logistics Planning and Management:

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for field operations, including travel, accommodation, and transportation for field representatives.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for field activities, ensuring timely and effective execution of marketing and sales initiatives.

New Store Opening Operations:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of new store openings within the territory.
  • Coordinate with various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, supply chain) to ensure smooth and successful store launches.
  • Ensure that new stores meet company standards and are fully operational from day one.

Sales and Marketing Initiatives:

  • Implement and manage field marketing campaigns alongside the Director of marketing to promote Legendary Dogs products and increase brand awareness.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to drive sales in the field.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences and adjust field strategies accordingly.

Innovation and Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging team members to generate and share ideas to improve business processes and customer experiences.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to identify potential improvements and new business opportunities.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across all field operations.

Training and Development:

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for field representatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop leadership programs to prepare high-performing team members for advanced roles within the company.
  • Ensure all team members are up to date with the latest industry trends and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in field operations, sales, or marketing management.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading a team of field representatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the retail or hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
