At LALO, our tequila is named after our founder, Eduardo “Lalo” González, the nickname given to him by his grandfather, the father of premium tequila, Don Julio González. What begin as a small, private batch for friends and family in Guadalajara has turned into a tequila high in demand for it’s clean taste and purity. We are one of the cleanest tequilas on the market with only three ingredients and certified additive free.

What You’ll Do:

•              Conceptualize, oversee and produce local strategic events, activations and special projects in New York City area

•              Help implement and activate brand-building across New York alongside NY Partnerships Manager

•              Propose new events and garner learnings across strategic events to iterate over time

•              Manage local market’s individual event budgets alongside Experiential Director

•              Maintain a constant presence in the city and engage in local city’s creative scenes, events, parties, launches and social settings, developing contacts, networking and building awareness about the LALO brand/culture

•              Assist in building and leveraging positive relationships with distributors, influencers, and accounts to build brands among target audiences, achieve growth and perform against KPIs

•              Create a weekly update to be emailed every week summarizing past week accomplishments and goals for the upcoming week to the Experiential Director

•              Create a list of monthly ongoing happenings in the city

•              Perform administrative and executional tasks including, but not limited to:

·              Event recaps

·              Status updates

·              Organizing and ensuring Monday is current

·              Shipping of marketing collateral for experiential and sales teams

·              Printing of marketing collateral

·              Gifting across all markets

·              Menu creation for events

·              Product pickup and deliveries for all local events

·              BAMKO orders for POS

·              Manage local POS and storage in the city


Experience We’re Looking For:

•              A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably 3+ years in related field

•              Must have flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends

•              Must have a healthy and active interest in outside cultural events

•              Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

•              A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance together with excellent communication, problem solving and listening skills

•              Food and/or Beverage CPG marketing experience

•              Alcohol / beverage experience a plus


What you’ll bring to the table:

•              Excellent attention to detail, and proven project management skills

•              A significant level of independent thought and an ability to embrace ambiguity and challenge existing norms to exceed the goals and objectives of the marketing team

•              Self-starter and a desire to build process in an unstructured environment

•              A multi-tasker and great organizer - ability to manage multiple projects at once

•              Event Management – 3+ years’ experience, or equivalent experience in event production or event management

•              A strong communicator – ability to communicate production elements with all external partners, clients, colleagues and key internal stakeholders

•              Budgets - proven experience of managing budgets

•              Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers

•              Design & Styling – ability to style spaces that are on brand with LALO’s design style

•              Food & Beverage experience – working with chefs and bartenders to produce events

•              People management – clear briefing and on-event managerial skills

 

Physical Requirements:

·     Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands

·     Must be able to work on your feet as well as stationary for at least 10 hours’ daily

·     Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 pounds with occasional kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required
