Knows, understands, and follows all Safety and Environmental policies, programs, procedures and requirements
Respond, support, coordinate, oversee, follow-up on any environmental events and incidents as required
Perform mandatory environmental site inspections and complete associated documentation and electronic filing of all records
Coordinate required waste-related sampling activities and laboratory analysis for new and recurring wastes
Maintain all waste stream documentation and onsite electronic filing systems (manifesting, recycling, labeling, etc.)
Coordinate all waste transportation, storage and disposal activities with outside vendors.
Lead the preparation and review of all waste recordkeeping and reporting requirements
Create and provide all technical reports as required
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications:
Degree in Solid/Hazardous Waste Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
Experience working with hazardous and non hazardous materials
Ability to effectively respond to environmental events/incidents
Ability to create and complete reports within deadlines as required
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, verbally and in writing. Skills will be used to produce quality reports and thorough instructions and directions
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
CDL A or B with X preferred (must have the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment)
Must have active TWIC card
RCRA preferred
