Job Description:
We are seeking proactive and ambitious intern for our client to identify and create new business opportunities. This part-time, contractual role involves leveraging existing catalog intellectual properties through strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and supporting the planning and execution of commercial goals. The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel required to the Dakota area, fully reimbursed.
General Responsibilities:
- Sell existing Digital Products to Insurance tech, large Farming Communities, Retailers, etc.
- Build and develop long-term, quality relationships with key ecosystem players, including stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partner management, legal, finance, marketing, and planning teams to evaluate, develop, secure approval for, negotiate, and close partnerships.
- Target Market and customers shall be provided .
- Structure, negotiate, and close partnerships to meet or exceed objectives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key partners at every level within the Agri-tech and related organisations.
- Work with various divisions inside the company to gain support for key initiatives and deals.
Areas of Opportunity:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, Build pipelines and drive revenue growth.
- Channel Sales: Help in building Inbound marketing programs to drive leads. Oversee the sales process for products or services, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Other Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Engagement Type:
- This is a part-time, contract position. It can be structured as either an hourly rate or a fixed rate. Leads will be managed independently through a lead tracking project management system with weekly meetings to align on progress and execution.
Qualifications:
- Passionate and knowledgeable about Agri-tech and sustainability.
- Internship experience in business development and strategy, preferably within Agri-tech or related fields.
- Superb negotiation, analytical, communication, and customer/partner relationship skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Cross-functional work experience within business development, finance, and marketing.
- BA/BS (or equivalent) in business or technology required; MBA or MA a plus.
- Additional language fluency is a plus.
