Overview
Join a dedicated team of educators and therapists in providing virtual speech and language services to students. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' development.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
Develop and implement personalized speech therapy plans and goals.
Deliver speech therapy sessions focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' speech and language development.
Monitor and document student progress through detailed data collection and analysis.
Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development.
Provide guidance and support to team members including paraprofessionals.
Stay updated with current best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
California state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.
ASHA certification preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a remote/virtual work environment.
Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
