The Director, Technology Business Partner will be a critical leader in ensuring the Dawn North America business meets its transformational objectives and achieves its strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Business Planning, NA, this role will collaborate with Dawn team members globally, and will partner closely with the North America Leadership Team and the Technology Leadership Team. This is a hybrid position requiring residence within a two-hour radius of Jackson, MI for home office accessibility, with the potential for up to 20% travel.
The position facilitates, and serves as a lead, for the planning and execution of technology focused initiatives to enable Dawn North America to achieve short- and long-term business objectives. The Director, Technology Business Partner will communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to appropriate levels of leadership and staff regarding service requests, projects, and initiatives. This role will act as an advocate on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet the business priorities and needs.

Compensation: $118,730 - $201,850 + Bonus Potential

What will you do as a Director, Technology Business Partner at Dawn Foods?
- Responsible to build, maintain, and facilitate execution of the North America technology roadmap.
- Partner with the Dawn North America Leadership Team (NALT) to facilitate “Demand Funnel” for functional technology needs/demands.
- Manage prioritization process for technology demands across business stakeholders to define and keep current the technology roadmap.
- Lead partnership between business stakeholders and IT partners to develop business cases to support approval of business-driven technology investments.
- Oversee overall portfolio investment, benefit and risks assessment and optimization. Participates in the financial and planning cycles.
- Engage with appropriate stakeholders to proactively identify and evaluate risk associated with business decisions.
- Collaborate with business functional stakeholders and IT partners in the development and execution of defined strategies and project development, facilitating the smooth adoption of new technology-based solutions leveraging effective change management practices.
- Act as an advocate for business needs and required results.
- Own the demand aspect of relationship management with internal and external delivery teams.
- Develop, implement, measure, review and improve KPIs for the overall technology demand management process.
Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or equivalent education or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 10+ years of Functional and/or Technology experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, and/or Procurement in a large or multinational manufacturing and/or distribution company, preferably in foods.
- 5+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives.
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, distribution and/or procurement processes.
- Subject Matter Expertise in one or more critical enterprise applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (preferably SAP), Warehouse Management, Logistics Executions, or other relevant functional enterprise solutions
- Ability to listen, build rapport, and build credibility as a strategic partner within the North American business, as well as with leadership.
- Ability and comfort with working at executive levels.
- Leading by example, mentoring, and motivating people around you, be able to take criticism and give valuable feedback.
- Understand and integrate business strategies to deliver value, set expectations with business partners.
- Broad technical understanding, requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate / present risk variables.
- Up to 20% travel
