ServiceChannel is seeking a Director of Sales Operations to join our team. As the Director of Sales Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategies and operational frameworks. You will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, enhancing sales force productivity, and refining our sales compensation strategy. Your collaborative efforts with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams will be crucial in optimizing our sales processes and achieving our business objectives. Your expertise will help us maintain a competitive edge, improve sales effectiveness, and sustain long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Responsible for implementing sales strategies that align with the business objectives. This includes setting sales goals, defining sales processes, and ensuring strategies are executed effectively across the sales team.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Analyzes sales data and metrics to identify trends, forecast sales, and evaluate the performance of sales initiatives. Must have a solid understanding of TAM & SAM views that help inform strategic decisions.
  • CRM Management: Role must ensure that the CRM is used effectively, maintaining data accuracy, and that the sales team is trained on how to use the system to track interactions and sales progress. ServiceChannel uses Salesforce.com, Clari, Salesloft, and 6Sense as the primary GTM tools.
  • Sales and Territory Reporting: Assist Executive Leaders in Funnel Mgmt, QBR’s and other daily mgmt activities. Weekly reporting of weighted forecast, pipeline health, Operation Reviews and other Executive reporting are essential.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Tasked with streamlining and optimizing the sales process. This involves identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implementing solutions to improve sales productivity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a global SAAS sales or sales operations role, demonstrating growth and accountability.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Platforms
  • Independent work ethic with a strong sense of accountability, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively across various functions.
  • A passion for business intelligence, with a comprehensive understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce.com and other sales operation tools.
  • Analytical mindset, exceptional project management skills, and a results-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven track record in managing sales operations effectively.

Education And Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for a background in DaaS and SaaS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

Work Location:

  • This is a remote position in the U.S. with an expectation of 20% travel.

This position is also eligible for bonus and equity as part of the total compensation package.

The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $106,600 - $198,000 . Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
