Job Summary: The Director of Social Strategy and Events is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies and organizing impactful events to enhance the company's brand presence, engage target audiences, and drive business objectives. This role requires a creative thinker with a deep understanding of social media platforms, event management, and brand marketing strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing goals and brand identity.
  • Identify emerging trends, tools, and technologies in social media and recommend strategies to leverage them for business growth.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and creative, to ensure social media activities are integrated into overall marketing efforts.


Content Creation and Management:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Develop content calendars, manage content pipelines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Monitor online conversations, respond to inquiries and comments, and manage community engagement to foster positive brand interactions


Event Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning, organization, and execution of both virtual and in-person events, including conferences, product launches, webinars, and experiential activation
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure seamless event logistics, branding, and execution.
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and track expenses to ensure events are delivered within budgetary constraints.


Brand Advocacy and Influencer Marketing:

  • Develop strategies to identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and advocates to amplify brand messaging and reach new audiences.
  • Collaborate with influencers and partners to create authentic content, campaigns, and partnerships that drive brand awareness and engagement.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate the performance of social media initiatives and events to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and recommend actionable improvements to meet business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing high-impact events, from concept to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovation.
  • Experience working with influencers, partners, and agencies is a plus.
