Our client is a cutting-edge intelligence platform tailored specifically for the legal community, offering comprehensive insights and analytics to optimize business development and strategic decision-making. Think LI for law and search firms! They have had 20% YoY growth (all organic), but looking to expand their outbound practices and need an experience Sales Leader to pave the way (flex on title). The platform empowers law firms to enhance client acquisition, track market trends, and gain a competitive edge in the legal industry.



Role Overview:

As the Sales Leader you will spearhead sales efforts to drive revenue growth and market expansion. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and building a high-performing sales team. Starting out this is a hands on executional role. Coming in you will have one direct report and have the ability to hire a few additional sales members as needed in year 1. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth trajectory and go after wide open fields!



Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Identify and prioritize key target markets and industries for business development initiatives.
  • Hold an individual quota (1-1.5M) and as the team grows, lead them best practices to close deals with law firms and legal professionals.

New Business Acquisition and Upselling:

  • Drive the acquisition of new clients through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding our product offerings within existing client accounts.

Sales Operations and Process Improvement:

  • Develop and optimize sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Utilize data analytics to track sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Playbook and Sales Enablement:

  • Create a comprehensive sales playbook outlining best practices, sales methodologies, and go-to-market strategies. Marketing experience is a huge plus!
  • Implement sales enablement tools and resources to support the sales team in achieving their goals effectively.



Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the SaaS or legal tech industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA plus).
