Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill a Direct Hire Director of Project Management opening with a company in River Falls, WI. Interested candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Construction/Business Management), 5+ years of experience leading a team of project managers through multiple complex architectural/commercial millwork projects, excellent leadership abilities and be able to utilize project management software.

Director of Project Management Job Description:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of project management, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Lead and supervise a team of 7 project managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

Director of Project Management Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing complex fixture and casework millwork projects.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as construction management, business management or engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to assertively handle complex challenges.
• Innovative and driven to lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Proven leadership ability resulting in high performing teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills
• Experience with project management software.
• Financial background with experience creating financial reports and maintaining project budgets.

The starting salary for the Director of Project Management position is $110,000-$120,000 annually.
