Feast & Fettle is searching for a seasoned Director of People Operations to oversee and expand our People Operations team. This role is crucial for ensuring that our East Providence production kitchen, along with other company locations, continues to thrive with a highly engaged, productive, and satisfied workforce.

Working closely with the People Operations Manager and other department leaders, the Director of People Operations will strategize and implement HR policies, practices, and programming that nurture our company culture, supporting our mission of nourishing everyday life.

What will the Director of People Operations do?


  • Lead and mentor the People Operations team, fostering a values-centered lens on employee support, initiatives, and programming.
  • Design and implement comprehensive People strategies that align with our business goals to drive retention—enhancing employee engagement, performance, and satisfaction.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute talent acquisition and retention strategies that support Feast & Fettle's growth and operational needs.
  • Oversee employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, and workforce planning in partnership with the COO & Head of People.
  • Be an excellent steward of our company culture and values, ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of People Operations.
  • Act as a curator of our culture on a daily basis, amplifying the parts that improve our member and employee experience, and engage with curiosity to understand and resolve the parts that are at conflict with the culture.
  • Drive the development and implementation of training and development programs that support employee growth and organizational needs.
  • Lead strategic HR projects, including technology enhancements, process improvements, and organizational development initiatives.


What does a strong applicant for this position have?


  • Candidates with hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership in People Operations/Human Resources with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in the food service or related industry.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is highly desirable.
  • A track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with capacity to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HR technology, including payroll software, time tracking, management, and training tools.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive, dynamic, and positive workplace culture.
  • A growth mindset, comfortable with navigating change and leading through it.
