To fulfill this mission, we need to be obsessed with how we are serving and engaging with our academic partners and ensuring that every interaction, every feature we launch and every match we make is done with intention.

This role reports to the VP of Experiential Learning on an interim basis and is responsible for driving the strategic growth and development of key partnerships. Acting as an advisor and strategist, you will lead account strategy with a growth lens by strategizing with and leveraging our Partner Relations and Strategic Partnerships teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the strategy for exceptional service delivery, retention and growth of select high value, visionary partners and their ultimate success at Riipen. This includes but is not limited to;
    • Defining success and in turn developing the strategy for delivering partner success in assigned accounts
    • Setting the leadership standard for service delivery on those accounts and holding accountability for delivery
    • Customer success planning and engagement
    • Development of account success metrics both internally and externally
    • Development of implementation plans of feature adoption
    • Seeking new and innovative ways to engage every corner of the partnership
    • Act as a product expert to unlock potential through adoption and innovation using the Riipen platform
  • In collaboration with other customer-facing teams, develop and execute on a strategy to amplify Riipen's brand in the ecosystem (and with existing customers who are ready to scale their contract)
  • Rolling up your sleeves and engaging with Riipen teams at every level to ensure that your partnerships are exceeding their potential, have exceptional customer support and outcomes
  • Operating with a deep understanding of the Riipen platform and features, leading the effort on driving full adoption and utilization of the platform with the book of partnerships and beyond Develop and evolve processes and practices to more deeply align Riipen Teams with the goals of our customers; embedding customer obsession into the Riipen culture
  • Creating actionable insights and recommendations based on what our users need most to further scale their WIL ecosystem in alignment with Riipen's strategic direction
  • In collaboration with other customer facing teams, develop and execute on a strategy to amplify Riipen's brand in the ecosystem

  • Strategic Product Implementation Plans with key clients
  • Strategic Onboarding Plans with key clients
  • Strategic success plans with key clients
  • Expansion and growth for key accounts and their associated targets

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • Experience working in the higher education and workforce development space is a must
  • 10+ years experience in managing complex, high value accounts
  • Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders across an organization and becoming a trusted advisor in designing innovative programs.
  • Experience navigating complex funding streams and aligning solutions to secure budget for growing partnerships
  • Able to build relationships and trust within higher-education institutions to build programs that support their end goals
  • Experience building and scaling customer-centric programs
  • Experience in working through strategic culture shifts and transformation, focused on client-centricity
  • Self professed customer-obsessed, and advocate in the WIL space
  • "Roll your sleeves" up mentality and experience in doing the doing; Riipen has a do-er mentality and this role is no exception
  • Brings the ability to move quickly and support teams in iterating as they go to put practices into practice

A note on compensation for the role, the range listed is in USD and CAD for candidates based in either geography. All compensation is benchmarked internally and externally. Compensation offered is commensurate with experience and aligned with our pay equity practices.
