About Our Client ErthTech Talent is working with a turnkey developer of C&I steam turbines for industrial clients. They capture wasted steam and turn it into energy. They have been in business for quite some time in the small-scale hydropower space and are now expanding into steam turbines with the recent acquisition of IP. In other words, they are an established business and will not rely on another fundraise to continue trucking along – a profitable business. They need a senior mechanical engineer to mentor/lead the team as they grow. Could this be you? The Role Lead, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the company's mechanical engineering design and development. You’ll take full responsibility for this department, so it’s a true leadership role. A core component of this position is to increase the throughput of projects – creating more efficient processes to deliver higher volumes. You’ll be reporting to the COO Qualifications & Skills Required Professional Engineering License 5-15 years of mechanical engineering design experience (with Steam Power Generation Systems) (Experience doing project engineering on things that involve steam and that spin) 3-5 years working with Clean Energy projects Excel Junkie / ability to analyize data and write reports (in an engineering context) Has been on a team that increased output by a large factor in the past (i.e. from 5 to 15 projects designed each month) Must be familiar with AutoCAD & SolidWorks Culture : Curious, Customer Focused, and Team > Self mentality Nice to Have Smart Sheets (or similar softwares) Salesforce know-how Benefits 401k, Stock, Unlimited PTO Base: $160-190k Note This role requires US-Working Rights - the company is unable to sponsor visa transfers.
